They will travel from court to court seeking a King or Emperor who will finance them with Gold. If the Royal Court DLC is installed landless characters occasionally gain an Inspiration, allowing them to work on creating an artifact. If the ruler does not have an Executioner it will lose -30 Opinion with the Court Physician or Antiquarian. If the prisoner was a Nemesis the option will always be given. If a character has the Arbitrary, Deceitful, Callous, Sadistic or Vengeful trait executing a prisoner has a 25% chance to be offered a Skull pedestal item.Alternatively the artifact can be destroyed to gain 75 Prestige.
